Hi! I’m Ulises Morales. For over 15 years, I’ve lived at the intersection of custom illustration and high-end screen printing. Based in Ensenada, Baja California—the world-famous mecca of off-road racing—my work is deeply fueled by the dust, grit, and high-octane energy of motorsport culture.
I don’t just draw machines—I engineer artwork specifically built for the textile industry. From off-road tracks and rally courses to classic restorations, heavy industry, and marine sportfishing, I capture the raw essence of the machine while designing with the physical printing process in mind.

03. MY WORKFLOW
“High-Octane Automotive Illustration & Industrial Color Separation.”
Concept & Structural Sketch
Every great shirt starts with a solid foundation. I begin by sketching the general composition, focusing on the dynamic angle of the vehicle and the typography. This ensures we align on the vision before spending hours on detailing.
High-Fidelity Rendering
Once the sketch is approved, I execute the final art. I apply color, hyper-realistic highlights, and textural shadows, always keeping the final print method in mind to avoid ‘unprintable’ effects.
Precision Separation & Handoff
The final step is preparing the file for the press. I break the art down into print-ready channels (Pantone/PMS). I provide a complete ‘Print Kit’ including the separation file, print sequence, and mockups. For DTG clients, I supply optimized high-resolution rasters.
